ADSL2

ADSL2 is the successor of G.DMT. Many improvements have been made to make ADSL2 better than G.DMT such as more bitswapping intervals. The frequencies that ADSL2 uses are the same as G.DMT, and the same theoretical maximum speeds of 12mbits down, 1.3mbits up apply, however, all ADSL2 compliant hardware must support this speed, whereas with G.DMT, equipment only had to support up to 8mbit speeds.
