Smile Installing sound card driver

I have an 'Enter PCI Sound Card 4 channel (creative chip)' installed in my computer. I installed it in Windows XP using the Driver CD.

Now I need help installing it in Ubuntu. I couldn't find any driver files in the Sound Card CD for installing it in Ubuntu. It says in the Sound Card cover, that it support Linux. Anyone have any solutions on how to fix this .

Sorry, this doesn't relate to your specific problem but I thought I'd mention that after my computer got Windows Service Pack 3, it seems that messed up my M Audio sound card system.

I reinstalled the driver which is no longer updated by the company, but it now works fine again.

Hope this helps somebody here.
