Default Linksys WRT350N

I picked up a Linksys draft N Router for uber cheap at a Comp USA several months ago. I am generally happy with it, given the price, but I have never had much success taking advantage of the USB NAS.

It worked, briefly, but I my primary computer is a Mac. At best, I had permissions issues. I finally gave up after time.

I am curious if anyone else has any experience with the Linksys USB capable routers. The most popular solution I've encountered is to replace the OS.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Wirelessmonk

From what I read the router supposed to support both Windows and Mac. Can you describe more what the problem is so maybe we can help out?

Its a permissions issue. The Mac can access files on the NAS but can't edit, delete, or create anything. The NAS HDD reads and writes fine when attached to the drive directly. I've repaired permissions on the Mac and tried changing the permissions of the drive, a folder, and a specific file. No joy.

I don't recall the specific error, something along the lines of not having permissions for a given action. In my own research it is a common problem and I've yet to find a solution that works for everyone.
