Default No Router Here

I don't even use a router.
Since we signed up with AT&T Cable and Internet, we have wireless service throughout the house.

I am using it right now with my MacBook. I can sit on the couch, at the countertop, in the bedroom, in the garage, anywhere. Even on the porch.

I, for one, would not go back to a router.

If you have more than one computer / other network device running on your internet connection, and just one internet connection wire comes into your house, you have a router - or a computer doubling up as a router - somewhere. That's a good thing though! What's your setup?

Yes I think you have to have a router somewhere if you are using your own Internet provider. For me I can use my laptop anywhere in my house but I do have a setup where my desktop connects to a modem that also serves as my wireless router for the laptops.
